Redactions portfolio
Redactions is a limited edition portfolio of text drawings created by Abigail Levine.
The portfolio contains 12 full-color digital offset prints. Designed by Michael Reardon, the Redactions are accompanied by an essay by Claudia La Rocco.
The Redactions follow formal constraints for their creation, akin to those Levine uses while choreographing dances. Alongside the Redactions, Levine creates Utterances, phrases of language-like movement. These are brought together as spoken text and movement in performance.
